Accelerating A Novel Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

See the end to end development of an innovative therapy for erectile dysfunction, focused on addressing unmet patient needs and improving treatment outcomes. Starting from a promising discovery stage molecule, the program required rapid transition into early phase clinical development, including formulation design, manufacturing, and regulatory ready testing. A major challenge involved converting a solution based formulation into an oral solid dosage form while maintaining consistent in vivo performance and enabling scalability for later commercialization. Advanced formulation approaches, including immediate release and extended release multiparticulate systems, were developed and optimized through iterative testing and preclinical evaluation. The resulting drug product demonstrated strong correlation between in vitro and in vivo data, along with favorable safety and efficacy signals in clinical studies.
