Now in its 10th year, Outsourced Pharma and Life Science Leader’s CMO Leadership Awards provide our readers with accurate and reliable customer feedback to assist them in choosing a reputable partner for their development and manufacturing needs.
The Awards remain the most meaningful accolades in the drug development and manufacturing outsourcing industry and are determined by a well-designed survey of CDMO customers (and our readers) created by our colleagues at ISR Reports. These Awards provide the entire biopharma industry with the most accurate and reliable assessment of contract drug development and manufacturing outsourcing organizations.
Award winners are determined from results of the ISR Reports Contract Manufacturing Quality Benchmarking Survey, where contract manufacturers around the world are assessed on dozens of key performance metrics deemed most important to biopharma customers. Survey participants are recruited from biopharma companies of all sizes. These respondents can only evaluate CMOs they have worked with in the past 18 months. This ensures performance evaluations are based on clear experiential data and actual involvement with contract development and manufacturing organizations.
There are six core categories for evaluation: Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality, Reliability, and Service. CMOs can win Awards in these categories from three respondent groups – Big Pharma, Small Pharma, and Overall (combined Big and Small Pharma).
