Interest in next generation processing enabled by digital technologies is driven by the need to accelerate the speed by which new medicines reach patients, to improve drug quality, to increase flexibility of manufacturing, and to reduce costs. This evolution is taking place in a bioprocessing landscape that has historically relied on multiple, disparate systems for data management and storage that don’t communicate effectively.
