LC/MS/MS Analysis Of Coproporphyrin I And Coproporphyrin III In Human Plasma

A new bioanalytical assay has been developed and validated to measure coproporphyrin I (CP-I) and coproporphyrin III (CP-III) in human plasma. This assay is designed to evaluate the function of the hepatic transporters OATP1B1 and OATP1B3. Utilizing LC-MS/MS detection, the method monitors these biomarkers and offers the potential to reduce the reliance on dedicated clinical drug-drug interaction studies.
