LABIO 4.0 Marino Golinelli R&D Pharmaceutical Center

Inaugurated in 2021 on the campus of an operating production site in Pomezia, Italy, this R&D center puts formulation development, analytical development, and QC next to commercial manufacturing. The GMP oral solid pilot plant runs ten working centers, with containment rated for OEB level 4 compounds (OEL 1 to 10 μg/m3) and batch sizes of 7 to 50 kg. Stability chamber conditions and the equipment trains for the pharmaceutical technology labs and kilolab are listed in detail, along with the center's place in a wider CDMO network.
