Consulting And Services Firm ZS Opens Three New Offices: Seattle, Washington, DC And Cambridge, UK

In a move to continue expanding our firm’s global presence—and to increase our proximity to key clients—ZS is excited to announce that three new offices will open their doors on Jan. 2, 2020: Seattle, Washington, D.C., and Cambridge, U.K.

“Things are better when we’re closer—whether that’s closer to our clients’ locations, closer to rich talent markets or closer to key time zones that can foster collaboration,” says ZS Managing Director Chris Wright.

The Seattle office will be led by Principal Tony Yeung, who aims to grow ZS’s presence in the Pacific Northwest, an emerging tech hub. The location will allow ZS to better support current clients and pursue new ones within the high-tech industry, a move that aligns with ZS’s strategy to grow across all of the industries we serve.

The Washington, D.C., office will be led by Principal John DeSarbo. The D.C. area is home to several key clients and will allow ZS to expand our firm’s breadth and depth within those accounts, and grow new relationships with clients in pharma, biotech, hospitality and high-tech—all robust industries in and around D.C. D.C. is a rich talent market and will allow experienced candidates from respected universities, government agencies and other firms to enter the ZS pipeline, some with niche expertise in areas such as R&D.

“What I’m most looking forward to is the challenge and excitement of building a new ZS community from the ground up,” DeSarbo says. “It’s not every day you get the chance to do this. I can’t wait to work with the D.C. team to shape a unique local culture while incorporating best practices from other ZS offices.”

The Cambridge office will be led by Principal Mark Rayward-Smith. The office will help further enhance our partnership with a current pharma client and support the growth of ZS’s emerging pharma business in Europe. Having representation in Cambridge will enable ZS to better access the exceptional talent pool there, particularly from the University of Cambridge, which is one of the top universities in the world.

“The new office is in a great central location, and it has a very creative and energetic feel,” Rayward-Smith says. “We will be over the road from Amazon, Google and Microsoft, and minutes away from many emerging pharma companies.”

With our firm’s expanding global presence, clients and potential clients will have the opportunity to work side by side with top ZS experts. In turn, ZS is getting closer to what matters most: our clients.
