CARL Stahl Sava Industries Named Manufacturer Of The Year At Annual NJMEP Manufacturer's Day Event

New Jersey Manufacturer’s Extension Program (NJMEP) presented Carl Stahl Sava Industries (Sava) with the Manufacturer of the Year Award, under the organization’s Manufacturing Cares award category. Nominees comprised New Jersey manufacturers who have demonstrated a commitment to industry leadership, innovation, growth through revenue, as well as the growth and development of its employees and communities in the following areas of success:

• Operations and Continuous Improvements
• Management Philosophy
• Workforce Development
• Supply Chain Development

Sava was singled-out by NJMEP for its demonstrable pledge to support global customers with its world-class mechanical cable solutions, but as importantly, lend support and resources to its workforce and the community surrounding the company’s Riverdale, New Jersey headquarters. Among Sava’s customers is a bionic limb maker known as Unlimited Tomorrow - creators of the revolutionary prosthetic arm known as TrueLimb. Upon witnessing Sava’s mechanical cables helping achieve bionic motion in TrueLimb, Sava donated the entire purchase of a TrueLimb bionic arm to a child otherwise without the means to obtain the wearable marvel.

Additionally, Sava was recognized for its annual donation of charitable giving, food, and volunteers to several nonprofit organizations across New Jersey. The North Jersey mechanical cable maker also pledged to and succeeded in never furloughing or losing employees due to the global health crisis and created a company pantry comprised of dry and canned goods secured through the company’s donations. The free service was implemented to serve employees, as well as friends and loved ones of employees, during the difficulties brought upon by the Covid-19 pandemic.
