How Client Input Shaped BPS' Production Facility Expansion

The newly expanded manufacturing building at the Halle/Westfalen facility will operate independently, but will be connected to the main building, supporting efficient flow of personnel and materials. We similarly expanded the facility in 2015, adding two vial lines at that time (the current expansion adds a new vial filling line equipped with lyophilizers and a high-speed prefilled syringe line). By carefully adding capability and capacity, we achieve more favorable timelines and flexibility not only for our clients, but for scheduled routine maintenance.

With only a year until we start manufacturing product on that line, BPS welcomes clients to partner with us in the interim, to allow the time necessary to begin a technical transfer specifically tailored to their needs in advance of line qualification.
