Greg Flynn Announced As Regional President Of Ashfield In The U.S.

Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare plc, a global leader in commercialization services for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, announces the appointment of Greg Flynn as Regional President of Ashfield Commercial and Clinical businesses in the U.S.

Greg will oversee U.S. operations of Commercial, Clinical, Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance and Market Access. Greg is transitioning to this role from his prior position as Regional President in Japan and Representative Director of CMIC Ashfield.

Greg’s most recent experience was within Ashfield, establishing the joint venture of Ashfield in Japan, CMIC Ashfield. Over the course of five years, under Greg’s leadership, Ashfield went from a new player in the market to an industry leading partner, with over 650 staff across 44 clients.

Prior to this, Greg served as Head of CSO Operations for Ashfield in the U.K. and in the U.S. was Vice President of Operations. Greg’s earlier pharma career experience was with Takeda, where he progressed through several roles from account-level positions to Director.

Mick O’Leary, previously the Managing Director for Ashfield Ireland, has been appointed to take over Greg’s role in Japan. As Regional President for Ashfield Commercial and Clinical in Japan, Mick will lead CMIC Ashfield and support the group’s overall strategy of expansion in growth markets.
