A new line of sterile disconnects from CPC (Colder Products Company) enables fast, hassle-free sterile disconnection of tubing used within single use biopharma and cell and gene therapy (CGT) manufacturing systems. A simple push of the HFC Disconnect Series thumb latch disconnects the single-use system, maintaining a sterile fluid path on both sides.

The HFC Disconnect Series includes a protective latch cover to prevent accidental disconnection. Each disconnect also is laser-etched with item and lot numbers for complete batch traceability. These new products are ideal for disconnection of flexible tubing used with storage/mixing tanks, single-use bioreactors, transfer lines, chromatography skids, filters, sampling, and freeze/thaw bags. The HFC Disconnect Series is available as separate connector bodies and inserts or as convenient ready-to-install sets. They fit 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” inner diameter tubing.
